Does Sea Breeze Astringent Clear Up Acne?

It might but it usually dries out my skin so I don't use it that much. Try Topol toothpaste, I swear by it when I get a huge pimple that wont go away. It burns a little so use it sparingly, maybe overnight.

I LOVE astringent. I use it myself too...just a different brand. use Clean and Clear. They make astringents that are for sensitive skin, you know. Maybe that would make it burn less. But, I do know the feeling. I don't think it does anything to acne scars because it's purpose is to remove excess oil and dirt from your face. This should help existing acne because it will clean the skin really well and keep more dirt from getting into your pores. good luck.

Are you trying to make the drink? If so, all you need is vodka, cranberry juice and grapefruit juice. Use the vodka to your liking then equal parts of the 2 juices. You can add a lime to make it look nice.

Can you use Sea Breeze Astringent instead of washing your face?

Sea Breeze is a pretty strong one. It can dry and/or irritate your face. You might only use that sometimes, and use Noxema or a mild facial soap in the mean time.

The most important thing is to open the pores first. Soak a thick, fluffy cloth in the hottest water you can stand...wring and drape over your face. Hold it gently against your face for a few minutes. Make sure it's newly-washed, so you don't go breathing in humidified germs from last use. You'll feel your facial pores open up. Then's the time to apply your soap/Noxema and very gently scrub, then keep rinsing.

i would use a toner rather than astringent.. astringent has a lot of alcohol and can be really harsh on your face.. toner works just as well if not better and moisturizes rather than dries your face out as much..

if you would like to clear your face up.. try using aspirin.. it has the same active ingredient as pro active..

take about four aspirin and dissolve them in a few drops of water.. add in a squirt of honey and make it into a paste.. this can be used as a scrub, mask if left on for ten minutes, or a spot treatment left on over night..
